Bio-Terror and Disease Identification System (B-DIS) (SaaS - Model)
B-DIS is designed to assist medical professionals in the field in the event of a disease, biological or chemical outbreak. B-DIS allows medical staff to capture vital information relating to a patient and transmits that information back to SDDM medical website. At the medical website doctors and specialist are able to diagnosis and make recommendations regarding the patient. Digital technology is used to capture patient images (ex. Rash, discoloration, etc…). B-DIS was written to take advantage of both windows and web interfaces and uses a Tablet PC to collect medical information in the field.
